PRESIDENT Mr Bruce Menzies AdvDip DT(Syd)

Bruce has been a member of the Queensland Association since 1983 and in that time has held various executive positions over that period. Bruce has been practicing as Dental Prosthetist at Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast since 1983 and at present holds the position of Treasurer of the Federal body. Bruce is, and looks like, the captain of the ship…aye aye Captain!

SECRETARY Mr Graham Hannam

Graham joined the Association in 1992 as a Dental Technician prior to becoming a Dental Prosthetist in1994. Graham was the initial editor of the Newsletter using the (then new) desktop programs. It later became the newsletter of the Dental Technicians Association - Contact Point Magazine. His aspirations for the Association are for it to evolve into a strong representative body with a challenging and rewarding education program and effective lobby group for dental health.

TREASURER Ms Denise Toovey

Denise has been a member of the Association since 1994, was Minutes Secretary prior to taking office as President from 2000 to 2005. Denise is currently the treasurer for the ADPAQ, is a member of the Registration Board (and has been since 2002), was recently nominated as minutes secretary for the Federal body and is easily recognisable by her constant smiles and big laugh.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Mrs Dimitti Huxley BSc

Dimitti was appointed as the inaugural CEO of the Association taking up the position in March 2006. Dimitti has historically worked within the health industry in Australia, Norfolk Island and the UK working in a variety of roles but lastly as Project Officer to the Executive Director of the Holy Spirit Hospital Northside.
