The ADPAQ have made the commitment to offer, at least once a year, a series of lectures to be held over a weekend in a location that would appeal to all members of the Queensland ADPAQ as well as attempting to entice those from the southern states.

The concept of the weekend conference allows for not only a series of quality education (be it clinical, small business, or philosophically based), but also an extended time to congregate together to establish relationships with fellow prosthetists which could lead to professional collaborations outside of the Association precinct.

With the advent of the new Recency of Practice document the close relationship between prosthetists will be invaluable when undertaking education through coordinated study groups and research.
