Infection control from a different angle. Erena will give a brief overview of the New Public Health act and how it relates to our businesses along with some practical easy to implement ideas on limiting contamination (barrier basics, workplace organization, disinfection and decontamination methods).

7.15 – 7.55pm
Breathe Easy Micheal Lewis, Acting Principal Health & Safety Advisor Queensland Health
Presents a synopsis of his investigations into dust and other airborne contaminants within the dental laboratory, what’s bad, what’s not and what to do about it.

8.05 – 8.45pm
Don’t End up a Cripple Jenny Mace, Senior Oral Health Therapist, MetroSouth Oral Health Services Presents an overview of her research into Musculoskeletal Disorders, looking specifically at the oral health workforce and some tips and suggestions on how to get and stay healthy.
